1. Summary from Empire Media Pack:

Empire has a duty to curate, inform and entertain, especially in a world where cinema can be anywhere, including our phones. With a readership that is three quarters male with a target audience of 18 to 40 year old's, Empires audience is interested and passionate about film, whether this includes set design, how the film is made or the actors involved. Within the magazine  Empire state they include, 'exclusives', 'on-set', 'a-list access' and 'authority'. For example, set visits such as exclusives on the MCU's Captain Marvel or the passionate and knowledgeable team working hard to create the magazines with correct information about the films. Furthermore, Empire offers multi platform streaming, such as a digital edition of the magazine, which includes exclusive video content, a podcast with an average of 51,000 downloads a week, live events and their website. Overall, the inclusion of multi platform streaming allows for a wider range of audiences for the brand.

Additionally, advertisers would pay for their adverts to be included in Empires magazine. For example, a full page display costs £4,900 or a full page advertorial costs £6,370.

2. Target Audience for set brief:

The set brief provided informs me that my readership is primarily 16 to 25 year old's, who are also a middle and upmarket media literate target audience. However, this is different to the readership for Empire, who aim for 18 to 40 year old's, which is a slightly older target audience.
